Don't know what gossip SA wants to know. Yet, this was the latest thing that we did: Bowling. $1 per game on Tuesday = cheap.
Unfortunately, Sara, I-chen, and ShuWei couldn't join Jannah, Eunice, and I for bowling. No pics taken. So, we all played 2 games. Obviously, the pro beat the newbies/amateur/cacat player. Eunice was first, followed by Jannah, and I took the last place. Yay.
Hopefully, more people can join for Tuesday Bowling. Go Brewers! And we just lost btw. :(

Picnic @ 7/13
Picnic and BBQ outdoor are the must-dos in the summer, especially in Milwaukee.
Preparation:
Food: Beef Brats, Beef Patties, New York Steaks, Drumstick, Chicken Breasts, Watermelon, Grapes, Sparkling Juice, and White Peach Juice (Sara, Janna, & SA's favorites).
Those are foods that we have, of course, we didn't finish them.
I was too excited thinking of the food and I forgot to bring matches for picnic. Guess what I found out. Free MATCHES from CVS.
For smokers out there, this maybe a good incentives not to quit smoking and buy more cigarettes perhaps. May be Malaysia kopitiam's tauke can use this tactic to attract customers.
Since Sara and Dom were driving, we tried to find a nicer area along Lake Michigan to BBQ. A place we had not been to.
This is located at the north east of the city, where there is a beach area behind the small playground in this picture. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to grill there.
So, we ended up at the place we always go. Remember the free matches at CVS? Dom and I went to CVS; Sara and the girls went to the picnic area. Then, Dominic parked his car somewhere at the kite rental area, while Sara parked hers besides MAM.
Ladies always get the priority of being pampered, right guys? Dom and I carried almost all the food stuffs to the picnic area where the ladies sat down. I said ALMOST all the food stuff, right? I left the watermelon I cut that morning in Dom's car. Yeap, I have to do a little more exercises to get the watermelon (OK this time Eunice helped-- so not all girls were pampered after all). Dom then set up the fire for the grill.
Sara invited her friends, Ali and Sarah. It was nice to sit down, chit-chat, enjoy the food we grill, and keeping an eye of the flying paper cups and plates because the wind was too strong.

Of course,we had some time for pictures. Cam-whoring, group pictures, "i believe i can fly" type of pictures, etc. are something you can always expect.

These are those pictures. Was it hard to get them? Nah... I got all three in one attempt, before, in the air, and after.
And I got a wave too.

Another one.

Group picture, and I was holding the camera.

Cam-whoring?

ShuWei and Dom.

Frisbee?

Yea, that's basically what happened on the weekend.

Chicago DayTrip @ 7/5/08
First of all, thanks buggie ( msamu blog supporters) for continuously checking the blog for updates.
Nothing special on July 4th besides the fireworks at the Lake Front the day before. Traffic was terrible downtown, but the weather was good and the fireworks were great. Owh yea, Janna prepared her famous curry chicken dinner on the independence day! *yum*
During the July Fourth weekend, Janna, Shuwei, Eunice, and Ky went to Chicago for a day trip. Thanks to the noise from the hyperactive kids and their "considerate" parents, almost everyone on the bus was awake and "enjoying" the views along the way from Milwaukee to the Windy City. Only Shuwei and Eunice were able to enjoy their dreams despite of the noise. *bravo bravo*
The trip started with having Dim Sum with one unknown chinese couple who did more whining than eating. Ah, what to do, kononnye very famous dimsum restaurant, so packed! But the brunch went well overall.
Urban Roots Hair Saloon was our next destination. No pictures of before and after, for me at least. Eunice has a short hair style now, but she refused to provide the pictures (she wants to surprise those who are fated to see her again :p) I definitely recommend Urban Roots Hair Salon than Regis at Mayfair for several reasons:
1. Asian hairdressers are better.
2. For girls, all the men hair dressers are pretty good looking. At least, they have nice hair.
Other Updates:
Sales tax is about 11.25% in Chicago, gas price is about $4.50 per gallon, George Webb (on 16th and Wells) is closed, and Qdoba is coming to Marquette.

2. For girls, all the men hair dressers are pretty good looking. At least, they have nice hair.
3. For Eunice, there is a cute guyish looking girl who washed her hair and she thinks that the girl is pretty cool! wooott!! ( this is added by Eunice, not the reason that I will go to Urban Roots. I like feminine girls - the one who washed my hair is pretty decent looking)
3. I was teased non-stop after I got my hair cut at Regis.
4. The price is about the same.
5. It is a good way to get out from Milwaukee.
Next was bubble tea at Alp Phine right before we headed to Navy Pier. The crowd was crazy there, maybe the taste of Chicago was there that weekend. Lots of local people, tourists.... We did something that we hadn't done before - taking the Ferris Wheel. The ride was pretty short (7mins or maybe less) but the view was awesome. Unfortunately, we couldn't get perfect pictures of Chicago skyline due to the sun exposure, our so so quality camera, and our less than amateur skills in photography.
But, we do have picture of Janna as she was cam-whoring with her low battery camera. That's why no more battery left for other pics.
I am kidding. We do have other pictures than Janna's self portrait.
Shu Wei and Janna with Michigan Lake as the background.
KY's smile and the nice view.
The swing was awesome, and everyone tends to walk to his/her left after the ride. It was a bit difficult for people who wore heels. But I must say, they were pretty amazing that they could still walk on those 2 things. SW brought sour sweets that will help all of us stay focus on our next activity: MiniGolf. Way harder than the course in Greenfield, SW (the beginner) and Janna (the good coach but not so good player :p) kicked eunice's and ky's asses in the tournament. It was fun!
Shiroi Hana was our last stop before Union Station. Japanese food was good (taste good and slightly cheaper than Izumis), and the services were perfect; as a result, Janna overate!
